Context Window (Memory)

Max Token Context: 512K

Effective Memory: Functional across the full test. The model maintains character details, plot state, injuries, deaths, and narrative continuity across 15 long responses without active memory errors. Maren's thigh injury persists through every response after the ambush — she is carried, she can't walk, the silver wire sutures are mentioned, she limps permanently. The pendant's cold escalates. Dorn's cough worsens. Mira's supplies diminish dose by dose.

Notes on memory behavior: The 512K window is more than sufficient and the model uses it effectively. Like FF Edition, Nano does not enter any form of repetition loop. It advances the story with every response, references earlier events when relevant, and tracks all 10 characters without confusion. No contradictions, no amnesia, no dropped threads across 15 responses. The longer output (15 responses vs FF's 10) provides a more demanding memory test, and the model passes it cleanly.

Character Portrayal

Voice Distinction, Character Consistency, Development, Relationships, Dialogue Quality.

Score: 384 / 550

Notes: 8-9 characters maintain clearly distinct voices throughout 15 responses. Thane's ellipsis-broken speech is the standout ("You... shake. Like a leaf... in a gale." / "The stone... cracks. But... the wall... still stands."). Mira's sarcasm is razor-sharp ("a lack of competent company" / "I'd rather not spend my first afternoon on the trail stitching your throat back together because you thought you could out-talk a predator"). Aldric's clipped commands ("Enough." "Quiet, Fen." "We move in ten minutes."), Fen's breathless rambling, Dorn's blunt growl, Voss's foreign-structured metaphors ("The guide is not leading us to a place. She is leading us to a mouth."), Sable's fragments, Kael's deteriorating enthusiasm. Real development for 4-5 characters: Fen's arc from Corwin confession to silent shell to hearing the birds return, Mira's clinical mask cracking under the weight of rationing, Kael's hero-worship curdling into raw trauma, Maren accepting she will never trap again. Dorn's final words to Aldric ("You... arrogant... bastard.") cap a fifteen-year wound.
